Heya,

There are two methods which can be used to find the rational numbers between two rational numbers,

____________________________________________________

First Method,

(1/3 + 1/4)/2

= [(4+3)/12]/2

= (7/12)/2

= 7/24

Second Method,

LCM of 3 and 4 is 12

Now,

(1*4)/(3*4)   and (1*3)/(4*3)

= 4/12  and 3/12

Rational Numbers=  (3.5)/12

thats easy
make them like fractions for that
first find the lcm of 3 and 4
as they are the denominators
lcm=12
now set them as like fractions
yo will get the answer 4/12 ans 3/12
now multiply the denominators and numerator  by 10
you will get  40/120 and  30/120
whose standard form is nothing but their previous numbers
now you will get the answer 31/120    32/102     33/120 ......
