ANSWER:-

Finding the square root of a number is the inverse operation of squaring that number.

Remember, the square of a number is that number times itself. The perfect squares are the squares of a whole numbers. The square root of a number,n, written below is the number that gives n when multiplied by itself.

Example:-

1. Calculate the square root of 10 ( ) to 2 decimal places.

2. Divide 10 by 3.10/3= 3.33(you can round off your answer)

3.Average 3.33 and 3.(3.33+3)/2=3.1667.

4. Repeat step 2: 10/3.1667=3.1579.

Answer:

Suppose the number be 6400

Then, use prime factorisation method.

Afterwards, make it's pairs and then multiply that pairs.

The number obtained will be square root of that number.

You can see below this :

2 |6400

2 |3200

2 |1600

2 |800

2 |400

2 |200

2 |100

2 |50

5 |25

5 |5

5 |1

Square Root = _/6400

=_/2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*5*5

= 2*2*2*2*5

= 80

80 is the answer. :)

Hope it helps....
