for finding the square root of a number there are different methods
1 - by guessing the numbers
2 - by factorising the numbers
3 - by factorising (to get approx exact square root for difficult numbers)
3 - first group numbers as pair from right
- find the perfect square from the first pair and subtract the answer from the first pair
- write down the next pair aside the remains of the first then write the double of the first answer got on the left
- on example two forty .............( a particular number) x ...................(the same particular number) = 225 here; 45 x 5 = 225
- then subtract this number from the other number , if we get zero as in the example it is a perfect square and it will get an perfect squre root ; if it isnt zero and we get remainder we can add 00 just as we add 0 in division and continue the same procedure , then we will get approx value of the square root ( as decimals )
