Answer:

24×18 = 432

according to Pythagoras Theorem

18^2+12^2=√(468) = 21.63.

according to Pythagoras Theorem

12^2+10^2= √(244) = 15.62

Area of the shaded region = 432- (21.63+15.62)

= 432- 37.25

= 394.75

Answer: 264

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of shaded region = Area of rectangle - Area of two triangles

=> Length × Breadth - ( 1/2 × b × h ) + ( 1/2 × b × h )

=> 24 × 18 - ( \sf\dfrac{1}{2}\:\times\:10\:\times\:12\:+\:\dfrac{1}{2}\:\times\:18\:\times\:12 )

=> 432 - ( 5 × 12 + 9 × 12 )

=> 432 - ( 60 + 108 )

=> 432 - 168

=> 264
