how to find the % of water absorbed by soil ?

Hey buddy!!!

Just u need is a burner , a pan , and a weighing machine..

1)Take a moisture filled Soil(in which u want to find the % of water)

2) weigh it on machine

3) then heat it gently then increase the flame and stir the soil well

4) after the soil dries fully .. then weigh it once again.

5)then Subtract the dried weight from moisturised soil weight.

6) the Ans. u got is the amount of water present in soil.

7) Now by this data find % of water.
