2x+5y-4=0
=>2x=4-5y
=>x=(4-5y)/2
since we are asked to find the point of intersection with x-axis this means that y=0. Since y=0 on putting the the value of y we get that
x=(4-5×0)/2=4/2= 2
Thus when x=2 the line will intersect x-axis.
I hope it would be helpful to you , if it is so the dot forget to thank me ...

If the graph intersects x axis , it means that y = 0
2x + 5y - 4 = 0
y = 0
2x - 4 = 0
2x = 4
x = 2
The points where the graph intersects x axis is (2,0)
2x + 5y - 4 = 0
y = 0
2x - 4 = 0
2x = 4
x = 2
The points where the graph intersects x axis is (2,0)
