Surface area of cube=6 (side)^2
=)600=6 (side)^2
=)600/6=side^2
=)side=root 100
Hence, side=10 cm
Hope it helps u.

Hello Frnd

As we know that

Surface area of Cube = 6a^2 ...............(1)

And here Surface area is Given as 600 cm^2

By putting Surface area in (1)

600 = 6 {a}^{2} \\ 100 = {a}^{2} \\ 10 = a \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: or \: \: \: \: \: \: - 10 = a \\ \\ we \: wont \: consider \: - 10 \:<br /><br /> because \: sides \: cannot \: be \: negative \: \\ \\ \\ hence \: the \: value \: of \: a = 10

hope it helps
