There are 2 ways to find square root..

Let's take the example of 36.

So first way=

1- Subtraction

36-1= 35

35-3=32

32-5= 27

27 -7= 20

20 -9 = 11

11-11=0

Here we have subtracted the no.by odd only and we have got the ans as 6 because we have to subtract the no. 6 times.

Second Method:

L.C.M

To find the square root of 36 by this method We have to find the H.C.F of the no. 36.

L.C.M= 2*2*3*3

= 2*3

= 6

Here we have to see that 2 is repeated 2 times so will write it as 2 and three is repeated 2 times so here also we will write it as 3 and then we will multiply 2 and 3. So ,here it comes 6 .
