If you are speaking of the Pair of Linear equations of Maths 10,

then the question will always contain two parts in which there will be a variation in the speed.

So you can take speed as x and distance will definitely be given...

then you will get two pair of Linear equations and by solving them...

and later using this formula,

speed = distance/ time

then time = distance by speed.

we will be able to find time
