in log table you have to find first 0.3000 coloum then you will find the answer 2 then same process for0.02 i hope u understand...

see in log table in coloum 20 and in first Raw 0000 you find 3010 so,the answer is 2 can you understand?

and for 0.02 see in coloum 10 and you will be find raw 4 starts with 0.0170 and raw 5 starts with 0.0215 so lo 0.02 number is between raw 4 and raw 5 so, the answer is 1.45 approximate...
dear u said answer for log 0.30 is 2 but when i find it in my androidcalculator,it gives value -0.522 something..!??
