how to give someone courage in beutifull and practical words (if the person is getting a operation or if someone is afraid of doing something or if someone is feeling sad ,bad and scard )???

if a person is lacking courage while going for operation
than we should tell him about his importance in his/her family as he will listen all this than he will think of himself and try to regain his courage
we should look very happy and full of love for him so that he could understand about his family conditions without him
