Use a highlighter of any colour or simply just underline sentences in the para with a pencil...

before highlighting certain points, you have to keep these points in mind. they are:

1. mark only the important points: make sure that you mark only what is relevent and not what 'seems' to be important. for this, you may have to go through certain question papers and look if it is actually something very important.


2. mark only what is needed: everyone has this strong liking for using highlighters and go on marking. but it is as much as that boring to read so many things marked with highlighters. so try cut short as much as possible.


3. use different colours: using only one kind of colour again makes it boring to read, however, your mind changes when you that the marked things are cut really short and are marked with brightly coloured highlighters.


4. mark only those things that you can use to refer to before exam, since they are going to be very short, they come very handy just before your exam
