SHORT CIRCUIT :- Conductor connected across a capacitor or resistor then both terminal of conductor reaches to same potential , hence no charges flow through capacitor or resistor . such type of connection is named as SHORT CIRCUIT .
basically , All want simple ways to go one place to another in the universe .same condition for electrons ( charges ) .
conductor provides simple ways to electrons . so, electrons don't want to move difficult ways . hence, here electrons goes to zero. this phenomena we say short circuit .
now
identification of short circuit in Ciruit daigram .
If you read definition clearly you understand how to identified short circuit.
➡ if a wire ( no resistance or very less resistance wire ) connected across any resistor then, Here, we say short circuit of resistor , becoz no current ( charges ) pass through it. see figure . here middle wire is a conductor ( due to no resistance show here ) after closing the ciruit bulb doesn't glow , becoz here , short circuit of bulb .
[ note :- short circuit won't be possible after removing of conducting wire. ]
