Most computers and motherboards today have a network card on-board which means you may not need to install a network card.

•Write down important information from the top or bottom of the card such as the Model Number, Serial Number, and specifications.
•Ensure you are familiar with ESD and its potential dangers.
•When physically installing the Network Card, ensure the computer is powered down and unplugged.
Once connected turn the computer on and install the drivers for the Network card.
If you do not have drivers for your network card or the network card drivers included appear not to work, you can find links to network drivers on our network card drivers page.

✴Look inside your computer and find an empty plastic slot on your computer’s flat, circuit-filled motherboard. Then find the row of metal slots toward the back of your computer’s case. Those metal slots are where you plug in many of your computer’s cables. Find an empty one for your new network card.
✴Save that screw because you need it to secure the new card in place.
✴You may need to rock the card back and forth gently. When the card pops in, you can feel it come to rest.
✴, those delicate electronics are held in place by one screw.
✴Windows usually recognizes newly installed cards and automatically sets them up to work correctly.
✴Drivers are translation software that helps Windows 7 talk to new parts.
