Take a piece of paper and fold it in the middle. Then fold the edges to the center and repeat until you get an accordion shape. The distance between folds should be 2 cm. Draw the horizontal and diagonal lines from the pattern to the paper, using a ruler and a pencil (so you can erase them later).
