how to make indirect speech

it's very easy just listen whatever is statement just you imagine that it's your one friend saying to you and the same thing you have to say the third friend. for example.
imagine your friend ram said don't wait for me just go.
and your other friends ask that what's ram said?
what will you say ?
you say he told me to don't wait ,I should go.
simple it's form indirect.
just understand it in Hindi.
ram ne tumhe bola tum jau
shyam ne tumse puccha ram ne Kya kaha?
tum kahoge ram ne bola main jau.
and just translate all the Hindi sentence in English your direct & indirect sentence prepare but something you have to remember while Changing into indirect.
some words are change while making sentence from direct to indirect
this will be changed in that
these=those
now=then
hence=thence
was=were/was
has=has/have
is=am/are

some words you can't exactly like if you wanna write today then you write the following day,
tomorrow=the day after
yesterday=the previous day
etc..


in changing indirect you have to play a role of third person who convert the conversation of 1st person to third person and you are the middle person
