why height of plants decrease in high altitudes??

it is all because of atmospheric pressure and water vapour

• Here you go :-

• Height of plants decrease in higher altitudes as when we move up, we notice that the amount of CO2 starts to decrease which in turn affects the growth of the plants.

• They are then not able to produce much O2, thus making it difficult too for us to breath.

• There's a line that is expected to divided some grasslands with tree lands. It's called tree line. After tree line you'll observe the conditions mentioned above and there will be much more grass than trees expected.
