how to make pinhole camera

Hey there! Now, I will explain step by step the simple procedure to make a simple pinhole camera...

Materials Required :

♦ 2 package cases of LED bulbs (One big & other a bit smaller than the other)
♦ A piece of Oil paper (available in market)
♦ Craft tools (glue, scissors, pencil, etc.)

Procedure :

• Take smaller package case & cut its bottom.

• Cover the area of it which was cut with Oil paper. Make sure it's stretched evenly.

• Now, take the other LED package case & put a hole with a pin on its bottom. There shouldn't be any other holes that allow light to enter.

• Now, insert the smaller LED package case with bottom of oil paper into the other package case. It should not go completely inside into it. A portion of the inserted case should project outwards...

• Seal the two cases as it is now with a cello-tape...

• Now, your pinhole camera is ready...


Look through the projected smaller case & you will observe upside down images of things forming on the oil paper...

Materials required: Teo tubes-one should be able to slide in the other, tracing paper and black paper.

Procedure: Follow the following steps.

Cover one end of the wider tube with a piece of black paper.

Make a very small hole in its Centre with the help of a needle.

Cover one end of the inner tube with tracing paper.

Slide the inner tube in the outer tube.

Turn the pinhole towards a bright object and look through the open end of the inner tube.

You will see a inverted and smaller image Of the object on the screen.
