for mastering history, it might be funny but yes you should try collecting 6th,7th,8th,9th or 10th standard ncert or icse textbook from people in our around.you should just glance at it daily.its not possible to read all at once .as you might history is always bit vast.you may start early.for example ; two pages of each book daily.the MCQ type of sst would helpyou the most.big exams like upsc and ias are based on MCQ type questions. i want to know what kind of entrance exam are you preparing for??.hope my answer helps!!
