See,
If u wanna measure angle u first draw a line and then put the protractor either on RHS or LHS. For ex- if you are keeping the protractor on the left side, then the remaining line is now on right side. Now see on the right side of the protractor, the angles starting from 0 will be the correct measurement. Similarly if you keep the protractor on the right end of the line then the remaining line is on the left and then 0 degree on the left side of the protractor will be the starting angle and so on.....
Hope this helps you:)

HEY MATE!!! ❤❤HER'S UR ANSWER!!! ❤❤
A protractor is an instrument used to measure or draw angles. Most protractors are either circular or semicircular, and are typically made of transparent plastic for better precision.
STEPS TO MEASURE ANGLES :
STEP 1
Place your protractor on the connecting vertex of a previously drawn angle.
STEP 2
Align the protractor to the base line such that it coincides with 0°. Then, mark the angle of the other line as per the reading on your protractor. Begin measuring from the base line to the angle line, and not from the other side.
STEP 3
Once you measure the angle, write the reading between the two lines.
