The parents tried to motivate the child and their motivation finally creates that urge inside the child which helps him to overcome his fear and conquer his goals. However, even after that the seagull did not take courage for a flight as he was scared that his wings would not support his weight and he would fall down and die. For the sake of his life, he agreed to continued to be a coward. To help him fly, the seagull's mother made a master plan and used the seagull's greed. The parents left the seagull starving on his ledge and the next day when the seagull was actually starving then he called his mother for help. She refused at first but later took a scrap of fish and flew to him. However, she remained a little away from the seagull's reach and the young seagull being maddened by hunger jumped at it and fell down. But soon his wings spread apart and he started flying. In this way he overcame his fear and finnally made his first flight. We can say that his parents were cruel to be kind to him (They took a tough decision of leaving him starve on hus ledge and when he was hungry and could not think of anything else fell in their trap and finally started flying).
