I am fortunate that my 6 year old daughter is fluent in English. She has a secret book and no one is allowed to open it. The poem above is the only one she wrote and read it to me. I took her permission to take a photo of it. I believe that she is writing poems and articles about her mother who died of cancer. Yes my wife died 3 years ago from cancer of pancreas and liver at NEIGRIHMS. I lives with my daughter and mother.
I never blame my daughter or make her feel inferior for any subject she didn't do well. I just let her know that I either sad and upset or happy by her performance.
Buy your child a small thing as a reward. Tell your child you are so happy because of her performance instead of praising her.
