Given: Given quantity is 2N NaOH(100ml).

To find: We have to find out the preparation process of 2N NaOH.

Solution:

In NaOH , the atomic weight of Na, O, H are respectively 23,16,1.

So, molecular weight of NaOH will be equal to

23 + 16 + 1 = 40

Now given quantity of water is 100ml.

To prepare 1N NaOH we have to dissolve 4.0grm NaOH to 100ml water.

For 2N NaOH we have to dissolve 4×2=8grm of NaOH to 100 ml water.

Thus by dissolving 8grm of NaOH in 100ml of water we will get 2N NaOH solution.
