Since Tuberculosis is a communicable disease, following steps to be taken to prevent its spread-
1. Isolation of the person.
2. Ask the patient to sneeze or cough with hand/handkerchief on his/her mouth.
3. Ask the patient to take the medications regularly.
4. Avoid wearing patients clothes.
