two curves are perpendicular if their tangents at the point of intersection at perpendicular.
slope of tangent = dy/dx
two lines with slopes m1, m2 are perpendicular if m1*m2=-1
slope of tangent = dy/dx
two lines with slopes m1, m2 are perpendicular if m1*m2=-1
