,3 things will happened

1) you can convert in decimal by taking approx

2) you can directly represent on number line by taking in fraction degit like 1/-8 2/-83/-8

3) Since, the denominator of each given fraction is 5; divide the space between every pair of two consecutive integers (on the number line) in 5 equal parts. Each part so obtained will represent the fraction 1/5 and the number line obtained will be of the form

See the first thing is 11/-8 is equal to -11/8 , by multiplying -1 in both the numeretor and the denominator .

So, make a number line now divide the distance between each of the integers marked in the number line into 8 equal parts, now start marking them from -1/8 from zero to the negative side.

Now finally mark the number-11/8.
