Answer:

This is easy, but tricky.

Use Pythagoras theorem,

Take a point p at a distance of 1 unit from a origin in the x axis and q at distance of 1unit from origin in the y axis.

Join pq, the length of pq will be 2,a Pythagoras theorem.

Measure pq using a compass and taking origin as a centre,draw an arc cutting x axis at r.

Then distance from origin to r will be√2. Join qr by Pythagoras theorem.

qr=3

Next take 3 distance in x axis and 2units in y axis... repeat the above process you will get 7.

Finally take 7 units in x axis and 4 units in y axis,repeat the above procedure you will get 23.

Now measure the distance(23) using compass, taking origin(o) as a centre draw an arc cutting X axis at m.
