just study NCERT THOROUGHLY. Try answering questions from question Banks .If you can answer all of them it means that you are ready to take up the exam.if not then study it once more. Try to improve your English grammar if your weak in it.grammer is a part where you can score easily.

Hii..
Boards are just like the other exams u give so no need of taking tension about tht..u can crack it easily..
For english i wud say that increase your vocabulary by writing and reading more essays..
For prose i suggest make the main plot of story clear so u can ans any kind of ans asked..
For some of the topics like notice and message writing ..if ur in cbse..there r chances of ques coming from mcb and workbook..
Practice more and more papers with a time limit which will increase your speed..
Be precis in your answers and in your essays and underline imp words and sentences in your paper so that the checker has an highlight on them and can give u marks just on seeing some imp words needed in that ans..
