In any entrance exam, the best way to score your best in reading comprehension is to utilize the text. By doing so, you will score more. In a reading comprehension, there is bound to be a question based on the extract and so I'd recommend you pick up the similar word that is shown both in the question and the text so you know you are looking at the right thing. After doing so, use the extract's words, just paraphrase, no points will be taken off for that. Moreover, I would recommend going over basic words before the exam so you know that you will have the basic vocab, so there will be more words that you will understand.

As for verbal ability, there is truly no 'cheat' but there is a manner in which you can try and practice. I found that watching series in the language that the exam will be in for a couple of days is extremely useful as you get used to the words, the accent, and the sentence structure. You can also use duolingo if you're are beginner level. Furthermore, if you know anyone you can practice your verbal skills with, do so, because the more practice you have with talking, the faster and easier it would come to you. For example, if you're in French class and you want to ask a question, ask it in French and not in English.

Hope this helps :) Please vote as the brainliest
