To send a message to a friend just search his username in the message section. There will be two options present, one to follow and another to message on app.If you are using website then there will be the options like send invitation and send message. Click on the message icon to message him.

But note ,to message anyone you firstly have to answer the required number of questions.

To search him/her on app go in the message section and type his username at the search section present at the top. On the website go to the invitation section to search any user.
