Given,

\[\left( {x + 10} \right)\left( {x - 10} \right)\]

Solution,

\[ = \left( {x + 10} \right)\left( {x - 10} \right)\]

\[ = \left( {{x^2} - {{10}^2}} \right)\]

\[ = {x^2} - 100\]

For calculating the value of x put this expression equal to zero.

\[\begin{array}{l}{x^2} - 100 = 0\\ \Rightarrow {x^2} = 100\\ \Rightarrow x =  \pm 10\end{array}\]

Hence the value of x is \[ \pm 10\]
