Heya buddy,

Here is your answer,

Given : a² + b² + c² = 16 and ab + bc + ca = 10

Find : a + b + c

Solution :

Using the formula,

=> (a+b+c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2(ab + bc + ca)

=> (a+b+c)² = 16 + 2(10)

=> (a+b+c)² = 16 + 20

=> (a+b+c)² = 36

=> a+b+c = √36

=> a+b+c = ±6

Therefore the value of a + b + c is,

=> ±6 (ans)

Hope it helps you.
Thank you.
