first similar the triangles ABD and PQD

THEN

Z/X = DQ/ DQ+QB ...........(I)

now again similar the triangles CDB and PQB ,
THEN

Z/Y = BQ/ BQ+QD ........(2)


NOW SOLVE IT

IN TRIANGLE ABD AND PQD

ANGLE ABD IS CONGRUENT WITH ANGLE PQD.....................EACH ANGLE OF 90

AND

ANGLE ADB IS CONGRUENT WITH ANGLE PDQ..................... COMMON ANGLE

THEREFORE

TRIANGLE ABD IS CONGRUENT WITH TRIANGLE PQD.............A.A.TEST

AB/PQ=BD/QD=AD/PD...............BY C.S.S.T

SIMILARLY FOR TRIANGLE CDB AND PBQ

NOW YOU CAN SOLVE IT.........
