The first circle follows the rule 2x + 2
So, take a number 2
The number opposite to 2 is 6, So the rule is followed
If x is 2 then the answer of the rule becomes 6
The same thing follows with 8
When we substitute x with 8
the answer becomes 18
The second circle follows the rule 2x + 3
So, take a number 3
The number opposite to 3 is 9, So the rule is followed
If x is 3 then the answer of the rule becomes 9
