=Xsquare -iy sqyare i.e X^2-iy^2

 \boxed{(a+b)(a-b)= {a}^{2} - {b}^{2} }

(x+iy)(x-iy) =  {x}^{2} - {(iy)}^{2}


( {i}^{2} = - 1)


=  {x}^{2} + {y}^{2}
