Explanation:

the given two 30 ohm resistor are in series so,

R = 60 ohms

now, this is in parallel with third resistor, so

R eq = (60×20)/(60+20) = 1200÷80 = 15 ohms

V = 7.5V

R eq = 15 ohms

by ohms law,

V=IR

.•. I = V/Req = 7.5/15 = 75/150 = 5/10 = 0.5 A
