d(a,b) = root 2 + 3
= root 2^2 + 4^2
= root 4 + 9
root 13

d(A,B)= √(4-2)² +(1-3)²

d(A,B)=√4+4

d(A,B)=√8

rashiten1202: See it's the square of 4-2 i.e. square of 2. So it is 4.
