Net Force:-

  • F_1=20N
  • F_2=4N

\boxed{\sf F_{net}=F_1-F_2}

\\ \sf\longmapsto F_{net}=20-4

\\ \sf\longmapsto F_{net}=16N

Net mass:-

  • m1=5kg
  • m2=3kg

\boxed{\sf m_{net}=m_1+m_2}

\\ \sf\longmapsto m_{net}=5+3

\\ \sf\longmapsto m_{net}=8kg

Now

Using Newton's second law

\boxed{\sf Force=Mass\times Acceleration}

\\ \sf\longmapsto Acceleration=\dfrac{Force}{Mass}

\\ \sf\longmapsto Acceleration=\dfrac{16}{8}

\\ \sf\longmapsto Acceleration=2m/s^2
