Comparing the above equation with standard quadratic equation ax^2 + bx + c = 0
Here , a = ( k - 1 ) b = - 10 c = 3
We know that the roots are reciprocal of each other i.e. the product of roots is 1
We know that
product of roots = c/a
1 = 3 / ( k - 1 )
k - 1 = 3
k = 4
Hence the value of k is 4
