For this question, we have to assume that all the trains move at a constant speed. If they move at a constant speed, the relative velocity between train a and b , and c stays the same through out the entire journey. If the constant velocity between the trains remains constant so will the distance between them. If train b is 200m behind train a, and train c is 100m behind train b, then train a has to be 300 m ahead of train c. This means that train a reaches the destination when train c is still 300 m away from the destination.
