multiply the coefficient of x square and the constant term .
For example there is a equation
5x {}^{2}  + 7x + 2

In above equation the coefficient of x square is 5 and the constant term is 2 , multiply them we will get 10 we should. write factors for 10 .
The factors are5,2;10,1
we should take the factor pair that the sum of that pair should be equal to middle number.
Then spillt the middle term as shown below.
5x {}^{2}  + 5x + 2x + 2
take common
5x(x + 1) + 2(x + 1)
Then,
(x + 1)(5x + 2)
x=-1,-2/5
