when we split middle term always remember that the multiplication of the number will split should be equal to the product of first and the last number for example here when we will split 7x it product should be equal to 7 x 7 xsquare .
and secondly the middle term should be equal to 7x here on addition or subtraction.
so it will be
 {x}^{2} + 7x + 7 \\ = > {x}^{2} + 7x + x + 7 \\ = > x(x + 7) + 1(x + 7) \\ = > (x + 1) + (x + 7) \\ = > x = - 1 \: and \: \times = - 7
and further on solving it will be X=-1 and -7
so -1 and -7 are the zeros of given Expressions.
I HOPE IT HELPS YOU :)
