In the vedic era caste was something that can be changed and it used to be flexible and Inheridetary there used to be inter caste marriages too but later on we see that it became hereditary and rigid it now have evn became a big problem as sc and sts of our society are still weak and we as a strong country just cannot come over this till the current moment

Ther is need to do something to reform this
