Answer:
- Talk about the topic with someone who is passionate about botany,
- Share your understanding (PM me about what you're currently studying and I'll create questions that you can answer in order to organize your thoughts),
- Dissect plants and their parts and examine them microscopically,
- Walk through various ecosystems and quiz yourself,
- Memorize the Greek prefixes and suffixes and the Latin names, of course, then you'll realize the extent of terms in the plant world that relate to sex,
- Study the natural history of plants to create a more robust understanding of the plants you are learning about.
- Explore the ecology of plants--how they adapt to their environment, their role in their environment, what they are like when they thrive, what they are like when they don't thrive, how plants obtain water and nutrients, how they deter predation, how they propagate, etc.. Think about this and apply plant solutions to human problems.
