how to subtract 28 from-42

WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE TO SUBTRACT 28 FROM - 42.

-42-28 = -70.

Reason for this is that we know that minus and minus symbol make plus but if there is no other symbol between them they are added but the symbol will be of minus as shown above.

SO THE ANSWER WILL BE -70.
