Hello Dear!!!

here's your answer....

4a - 7ab +3b +12 FROM 12a - 9ab + 5b - 3

12a - 9ab + 5b - 3 - (4a - 7ab +3b +12)

12a - 9ab + 5b - 3 - 4a + 7ab - 3b -12

12a - 4a +5b - 3b -9ab +7ab -3 -12

8a + 2b -2a -15.

That's really easy...

you have to just subtract or add the coefficients of same terms.

hii!!

here's ur answer...

u wanna know how to subtract sums like:-

4a - 7ab + 3b + 12 from 12a - 9ab + 5b - 3

first put both the equations in brackets.

now first we will write ( 12a - 9ab + 5b - 3 ) as it's written that we have to subtract ( 4a - 7ab +3b + 12 ) from ( 12a - 9ab + 5b - 3 )

now,

( 12a - 9ab + 5b - 3 ) - ( 4a - 7ab + 3b + 12 )

next step is to remove brackets.

= 12a - 9ab + 5b - 3 - 4a + 7ab - 3b - 12

we know that sign changes when we remove bracket and if there is - sign.

now we have to find like terms and then solve.

= 12a - 4a - 9ab + 7ab + 5b - 3b - 3 - 12

= 8a - 2ab + 2b - 15

see how simple it is.

ok, lemme give u one more example..

• subtract 4x - 5y - 2z from 8z - 6y + 2x.

as I told u before, first we have to put them in brackets.

then the equation will be like this :-

( 8z - 6y + 2x ) - ( 4x - 5y - 2z )

now bracket open..

= 8z - 6y + 2x - 4x + 5y + 2z

= 8z + 2z - 6y + 5y + 2x - 4x

= 10z - y - 2x

hope u understood how to solve sums like this.

and if any doubt, ping me :)
