how to take appropriate distance to make a ray diagram for class 8

Just make the diagram with a scale and that’s all...I was a little bit confused too at first but afterwards that’s the trick doing for everyone

Hello there!

I will just share what my physics maam told me.

So basically, in the lens, take 3 cm away from the optic center to be the focus and take 3 cm away from the focus to be 2F.

Then just draw the object at the desired area and yeah, proceed to the rest.
