You can take it by this way by cross multiplication where u have to multiply

1. numerator of a fraction to denominator of another eg (2 multiple by 7)

2 numerator of a fraction to denominator of another fraction eg (3 multiply by 4)

3.and last step multiply denominator of a to denominator of another eg (3 multiply by 7)

Answer to this question will be

According to step listed above

Suppose u want to add those

2/3+4/7

This is the ans ( if we add those fractions) .
