Pteridophytes:-

These include ferns, Marsilea and horse tails.

They have hidden reproductive organs. So, also called as cryptogams.

They have naked embryos.


Phanerogams:-

This group includes gymnosperms and angiosperms.

They have well-differentiated reproductive tissues.

They have embryo along with stored food that are called seeds.
