Study Hard cause by experience im saying CBSE 9th is tougher to CBSE 10th. The biggest topics which are hard and you need to focus on are
Maths - Polynomials (I felt its easy but was a vast chapter) , Circles
Hindi - Dhool , Diye Jal Uthee
English - English is almost very easy just focus a bit on Three Men in a Boat (incidents) and poems
Science- Focus on Starting Chapters of Physics the most as CBSE physics goes in a flow if you dont cope at start you will mess up with the rest chps. Biology - Tissues
Chemistry - I found it easy but focus on the chemical equations and experiments
S.S- History - Focus majorly on Russian Revolution rest chps are way easy
Geography - Focus on maps and places mostly as rest all is very easy without much detail.
Some people think Drainage in Geo is hard but I found it easy
Economics - Nothing is Hard just read them once and have the updated values ( 2013 survey i guess)
Civics - Focus on Democracy related topics and the preamble. Foreign parts in civics are easy as they are in forms of stories mosty
